Event Description

The Epitome of Interactive Internet Entertainment.

A Long Range Laser-Like-Light Show and Live Interactive Comedy Routine. Gregory GOrDon broadcasts live on Friday nights from his apartment on 37th St. less than 100 yards away from CONCRETE. Hopefully, Rob will be able to set up an Internet link so that patrons in the club can check out the long range light show. Gregory will amuse patrons by walking off camera and showing up in the club periodically.

This week will be a real test of Gregory's patience and faith. Last week there was some misunderstanding that kept Gregory away from the club although he did broadcast. This week we'll get it all together

So I am a bit conflicted when I show a paper cup, but this is an amazing bit of design from Shamrock Cups. There is no separate lid; instead there i... Read the full story on TreeHugger

Super Smooth: Magnetic Bearings Glide Closer to the Mainstream

synchrony magnetic bearings imageImage: New York Times
Magnetic repulsion is a force that can make things levitate. This is the principal behind maglev trains and an emerging breed of wind turbine. The advantage of magnetic levitation is the fact that physical friction is cut drastically or eliminated entirely--stuff no longer has to touch at all. When something must spin with ease, b...
